1. Overview
This policy is maintained by Health Culture Consulting to explain how we handle refunds, returns, and cancellations. All payments are processed in South African Rand (ZAR) through Yoco's secure payment gateway.
2. Physical products (books & merchandise)
- You may return an unused item in its original condition within 7 days of delivery.
- Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
- Once we receive and inspect the return, refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
- Damaged or defective items are replaced free of charge, or fully refunded including original shipping.
3. Digital products & downloads
Due to their nature, digital products (e-books, downloadable resources) are non-refundable once the download has been accessed. If a file is faulty or fails to download, contact us and we will resolve it.
4. Event tickets & workshops
- Tickets are non-refundable but transferable — you may nominate someone to attend in your place with at least 48 hours' notice.
- If we cancel or postpone an event, you'll receive a full refund or a ticket to the rescheduled date, at your choice.
5. Therapy sessions
- Cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice for a full refund or free rescheduling.
- Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are charged in full.
- Package sessions are refundable pro-rata for unused sessions within 30 days of purchase.
6. How to request a refund
Email books@healthculture.co.za (for shop orders) or hello@healthculture.co.za (for everything else) with:
- Your order number or booking reference
- Reason for the return / cancellation
- Photos of any damage (if applicable)
We aim to respond within 2 business days.
